Funeral services for Callie Mai Christie-Jumper will be held on Monday, November 26th, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Reed-Culver Chapel with Brother Vol Woods, Brother Rick Hobbs and Brother Steve Wallace officiating. Her family will receive guests on Friday November 23rd, 2018 and Saturday November 24th, 2018 beginning at noon until 6:00 PM at Reed-Culver Chapel. She will be laid to rest in the Park Hill Cemetery next to her family. Online condolences for her family may be left at www.reedculver.com.

Callie Mai (Christie) Jumper was born on Thursday, February 2nd, 1978, in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Sammie and Shirley Ann (Eastham) Christie. In this family, there was always something fun for them to do. When they weren’t busy, there was nothing better than swimming the river. Callie loved to drive the backroads and turn up the radio, listening to her favorite music while she took in the sights. Callie was an avid reader and loved anything written by Stephen King. On November 7th, 1999, she married her best friend and soul mate, William “Pum”Jumper. Together they shared 19 years of happy memories and raised Fur Baby Slick Jumper and three daughters, Kalyn Christie Jumper, Kaleigh MaiAnn Christie, and Kiley MaiAnn Christie. She was the most loving, kind and wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, cousin, aunt, and friend. She was devoted to her children and anything they did was a special treat for Callie. If you wanted to see Callie happy, all you needed was a beautiful day and then surround her with her family and friends, and perhaps a dinner. Then everything was perfect. She was employed at the Office of Veteran Affairs/ Student Affairs. She was a dedicated worker and loved being able to help the people that needed her most. She had a kind and loving heart, a beautiful smile, and a front doors always open to her family and friends attitude. She was of the Christian faith and attended the Church Of Christ in Welling, OK. She was always the person with the bright smile and kind word for all those who needed her. Callie’s time on this earth was all too brief, and the Lord called this good and faithful servant home from her labors on Monday, November 19th, 2018 in Tahlequah, OK with her loved ones by her side. Callie was 40 years old, and leaves a void that can never be filled.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, father-in-law, Willie Jumper, brothers-in-law, Brian Jumper and Nicholas Robin Jumper, Grandfather Buck Christie and wife Betty, grandmother Lewdema Haney Rose, Uncles Jess Christie, Junior Christie and wife Edith, Aunt Mary Accord, Niece Darian Elizabeth Jumper, and nephews, Wesley Girty Jr. “Shuggs’, Caden Place, and her very special Fur Baby Slick Jumper. Callies memory will be cherished by her loving husband, William Jumper of the home and her children, Kalyn Christie Jumper of the home, Kaleigh MaiAnn Christie of Tahlequah, OK, and Kiley MaiAnn Christie also of Tahlequah. She leaves her sisters, Regina Harris and Tim Crawford of Wagoner, Kayla Hanson and husband Patrick of Cookson, Haleigh Christie Reed and husband Trent of Tahlequah, OK, Arminda Morales and husband Chuy of Poteau, OK, Lisa West and husband Joey of Grove, OK, Jessica Alverson and husband Jerry of Westville, OK, Candace Limbeya and husband Boendi of Pettit , OK, and Melanie Graham and husband Joe of Jay, OK. She has her nieces and nephews, Rusty Harris, Mark Hanson, Coleman Harris, Daimian Daugherty, Gabriel Jumper, Nathan Baine, Daysun Sanders, Brian Jumper,Mason Yahola, Sammie Girty, Daniel Jumper, Tra Alverson, Zeke Alverson, Eden Limbeya, Dylan Graham, Brianna Ridley, Racheal Place, Morgan Alverson, Madison Christie, Destnee Alverson, Olivia Daugherty, Vanessa Daugherty, Abeni Sanders, Ember Sanders, Michaela Limbeya, Amelya Jumper, and Emerlynn Grace Christie. She leaves her great nieces and great nephews, Zayn Jumper, Derrek Daugherty, Kolbi Cannon, and Kambri Harris. Her aunts and uncles include Bob Christie and Betty of Caney Ridge, OK, and Betty Lou and Dale Davis, also of Tahlequah, OK. She has shared friendship with very dear people, Lisa Clement of Vian and Allura Vance also of Tahlequah, OK, as well as many cousins, co workers, friends, acquaintances, church family and a host of loved ones.
