Garry
Dean Jennings was born on the Cherokee - Adair County line on July 23,
1951, to Edward and Edith Juanita (Wainwright) Jennings. He passed away
in Fort Smith, Arkansas on May 2, 2019, at the age of 67 years 9 months
and 9 days.
Garry was raised in the Tailholt Community and began working on cars with his dad at an early age, which would begin his career as a mechanic. Gary was always a mechanic working at local service stations and nurseries. In 1992 he began his own general automotive repair business working on everything from small engines to large diesels. Garry retired after operating his business for twenty three years.
On December 22, 1972, he married Janice Swadley and they had shared 46 years of marriage at the time of his passing.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Delmar Jennings and Rick Jennings.
He is survived by his wife, Janice of the home; his two children, Garry Dean Jennings Jr and wife Deanna of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Sabrina Jennings of Checotah, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Phillip Aaron Jennings, Cynthia Rebecca Jennings, and Patrick Edward Jennings; five siblings, Johnny Jennings and wife Ginger, Dwayne Jennings and wife Carol, James Jennings, Keith Jennings and Sue Ward and husband Ray; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends.

William
Casper Denwalt Jr was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on March 28,
1949, to William Casper and Dorothy Mary (Walker) Denwalt. He passed
away peacefully at his home in Park Hill, Oklahoma on May 1, 2019, at
the age of 70 years 1 month and 3 days.
William was a graduate of Kansas High School.
He worked as a school bus driver while furthering his education at Northeastern State University.
On December 18, 1970 he and Cathy were married at the Crescent Valley Church.
William held several jobs during his lifetime, including a drafting engineer at auto crane in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a real estate agent, and in the communication industry installing fiber optic lines.
He would eventually open B & J’s Restaurant in 1996 and operated it until his retirement in 2012.
William had many hobbies, building being one. He built an airplane, air boat, and a high deer stand to name just a few of the projects he completed. He also enjoyed goat farming.
Above all the hobbies that he enjoyed, nothing gave him more pleasure than spending time with his children and grandchildren.
William was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Glen Alan Denwalt.
He leaves behind is his wife of 48 years, Cathy of the home; daughters, Lynn Wilson and Clint of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Lisa Davis and Delbert of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Taylor Davis, Quinton Vaughn, Riley Davis, Brandon Davis, and Chandler Wilson; and a great grandchild due in August; brother, Dale Denwalt of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; sister, Gloria Orman of Westville, Oklahoma; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services for Lee “Moose” Bunch
Jr. will be held Friday, May 3rd, 2019 at Reed-Culver Chapel at 2:00 PM
with Pastor Donnie Sanders officiating. A visitation will be held on
Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 at Reed-Culver Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until
6:00 PM. Lee will be laid to rest by his wife at Barber Cemetery.
Pallbearers for Lee include Christopher Bunch, Sonny Wofford, Herbert
Gonazales, Joe Harold Bunch, Greg Bunch, Anthony Cochran and Bud
Campbell. Honorary pallbearers include all his fellow co-workers at
Cherokee Nation Housing Authority and his nieces serving as flower

Lee “Moose” Bunch Jr. was born on July 10th, 1947 in Stilwell, OK, the son of Lee Sr. and Leatha (Quinton) Bunch. He grew up with six brothers and five sisters, Hubert, Rabbit, Herbert, Jody, Leon, Charlie, Kathy, Joanna, Leola, Viola and Zelma. Lee graduated from Cave Springs High School before joining the United States Army. He served time in Vietnam between the years 1968 to 1970 where he earned the rank of Specialist. He was proud and honored to serve his country. It was during this time, he married the love of his life, Yvonne Handle in 1969. Together they raised their two children, Todd and Melissa. They spent 34 wonderful years together until her passing in 2003. He worked for Cherokee Nation Housing Authority for more than 35 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator. A position that allowed him to meet many great people that turned into long lasting relationships over the years. Lee always put in an honest day’s work and was a straight-forward, simple man; “what you see is what you get”. Playing fast-pitch softball with his friends was a favorite pastime along with catching a Thunder game or watching Oklahoma Sooner softball with his family. Mowing the family cemetery and making sure the grounds were kept was a relaxing day for Moose. This hard working man found rest and joined his wife in Heaven on May 1st, 2019 at the age of 71. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, five brothers, Rabbit Bunch, Herbert Bunch, Jody Bunch, Leon Bunch and Charlie Bunch, three sisters, Leola Beaty, Viola Holloway and Zelma Cochran.
He is survived by his son, Todd Bunch of Dry Creek, OK, daughter, Melissa Bunch Smith of Dry Creek, one brother, Hubert Bunch and wife Lorene of Bunch, OK, two sisters, Kathy Gonzales and Joanna Wofford of Bunch, OK, one sister-in-law, Eugina Hill and two brothers-in-law, Earl Handle and Paul Holloway. His memory lives on through his four grandchildren, Kendall Smith-Bridges and husband Justin and Trent Smith of Dry Creek, OK, Caden Bunch and Coda Bunch of Tahlequah, OK, four great-grandchildren, Keeghan Carson, Rowdy Bridges, Ryker Bridges, Jett Smith, all of Dry Creek, OK, followed by many cousins, friends and loved ones.

Jane was born on March 5, 1943 in Ryan, Oklahoma to Mary Blanchard Cephus and Waudia Cephus. As a young girl just beginning school, she received much recognition as a singer. Through high school and college she was called on to sing at weddings, contests, and community events. Jane was a top student in grade school and high school. Jane was a varsity basketball player at Ryan High School. She completed a B.S. in Education from Central University with emphasis in English and music in 1964. Jane was selected as 1st runner up as Miss Central State. After graduating, she taught middle and high school in Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas. She completed coursework for a Masters degree in English at Emporia State University in 1967. And in 1976 she received a Masters degree in School Counseling from Oklahoma State University.
Jane and Tom Newton were married in Arkansas City, Kansas in 1968. They had one son, Brooks in 1971. Jane served as a school counselor in Cushing, Stillwater, Deer Creek, and Okay before retiring in 1991. After moving to Tahlequah in 1986, she began singing in the First Baptist Choir where she was often featured as a soloist. Jane also enjoyed the years she was a member of the choir’s Praise Team.
In addition to her singing skills, Jane was known for her caring personality. Jane was a strong, independent woman, supportive of her family. Her positive attitude never allowed her personal struggles to get the best of her. She treated those who knew her with love and kindness.
Besides playing the guitar and singing, Jane loved listening to all genres of music from hymns to country and rock and roll to hip-hop. She knew the lyrics of songs from the 1950's to current hits. She loved flowers, Sunday morning news shows, and slap-stick comedy. She was known for her infectious laughter that brightened the lives of those around her. She loved watching movies and couldn’t wait for the next Marvel adventure.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Waudia Cephus and her sister Judy Padgett.
Jane passed away on April 29, 2019 leaving behind her husband Tom and her son Brooks. Others who survive her are her nieces and nephew; Melissa Taylor, Jay Bee Hawkins, Shelly Green, Jimmy Green and Julie Nydam.
