Lindsey Dawn Hosley Downing, peacefully passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at her home in Tahlequah. Lindsey was born in Muskogee on Independence Day in 1976 to Cecilia Ann (Roark) Woodall and James Michael Woodall.

She was a loving mother of four; Kelsi Celeste Camden, James Alec Downing, William Tyler Downing and the apple of her eye, Chloe Jane Downing. Lindsey was passionate about her family and enjoyed photography, animals, and loved the outdoors. She had a creative heart, crafting blankets, baking cakes, anything she could do to make her loved ones feel special. If you liked it, she loved it! She loved the fireworks every year on her birthday.

Lindsey and Kelly own My Place BBQ in Tahlequah where Lindsey worked for many years. She worked very hard for her family. She was a natural hostess and had the heart to serve others, always making her coworkers and customers feel like family.

There is a wonderful video tribute here:

It is with great sadness that I post this obituary. Lindsey was a wonderful person. I shared much laughter with her at My Place Barbecue over the years. She was funny and sweet and kind.

My deepest sympathies to the family.
