Obituary - Noah Benjamin Clemons March 24, 1998 - January 23, 2019

Noah Benjamin Clemons

March 24, 1998 - January 23, 2019

Obituary for Noah Benjamin Clemons

Noah Benjamin Clemons was born March 24, 1998, in Tulsa, OK. He died in
Kerrville, TX, on January 23, 2019, having reached the age of 20 years, nine
months, and 26 days.
Noah was a fun loving and extremely intelligent child who began reading at
the age of eighteen months. He attended grade school at Warner Elementary
School. When his family moved to Tahlequah, he attended Shiloh Christian
Academy and at the age of nine, Noah won fifth place in the state finals of
the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Tulsa, though he was the youngest
competitor there.
At the age of fourteen, Noah was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer but
fought against and defeated it. He continued to excel in school, with a
love of literature, mathematics, science and anything nerdy.
Noah won several state academic awards and scholarships and graduated
from Tahlequah High School in 2016. Taking advantage of these academic
awards Noah attended both the University of Tulsa and Northeastern State
University.
Noah enjoyed music and was self-taught on the piano, guitar, and ukulele.
He also enjoyed photography and writing. A fun-loving young man, Noah
relished in playing with his nieces and nephew (The Kids) at family events.
Although Noah excelled in many fields, his vehicular skills were not the
best. It was not uncommon for the vehicles he drove to experience fender
benders and dings. He was also known to get lost while enjoying a drive
across the countryside. Noah did not confine his misplacing skills to his,
however. While it was not unusual for him to lose his keys and cell phone,
he was sometimes known to lose his car for a week or so.
Noah's sense of humor and winning smile made him a joy to be with and he
will be dearly missed by the many who knew him.
Preceding Noah in death are his father, Michael Clemons; paternal
grandparents, Melvin and Colleen Clemons; and his step father, Mark Hill.
He is survived by his mother, Rhonda Clemons; siblings, Emily England of
Tahlequah, Tyler Clemons and his wife Erin of Muskogee, Mason Clemons of
West Palm Bleach, Florida, and his two stepsisters, Olyvia and Hannah Hill,
both of Muskogee; maternal grandparents, Tom and JoAnn Godfrey of Warner,
Oklahoma; nieces and nephews Michael, Kennedy, and McKinley Whitmire, and
Madison Clemons, as well as many other relatives, friends, and loved ones

She always loved time gathered with friends at Senior Citizens sharing a meal and a little fun. She had a welcoming smile and a heart that never met a stranger. She always made you feel welcome. She enjoyed gathering with her family during holiday to make something special and enjoy the day as a family. A Christian by faith, she attended the Assembly Of God Church in Sapulpa. She loved her church family and helped whenever asked. Robert died in 2006 and Jewel stayed close to her family enjoying every moment with her grand and great grandchildren. Her health began to fail her and the Lord called this good and faithful servant home from her labors on Friday, January 25th, 2019 at her home in Tulsa, surrounded by those who knew her best.
