Obituary for Ellen Ann Philpott
Ellen
Ann "Midge" (Pritchett) Philpott was born on December 9, 1946, in
Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Toney and Ruth (Hensley) Pritchett. She passed
away April 5, 2019 in Tulsa with her family by her side at the age of 72
years.
Ellen was a lifelong resident of the Woodall area. She married Leslie Philpott in 1968 and was married seven years and they had four children.
Ellen was a cook at Cookson Hills Community Action Headstart for forty plus years. She loved to watch Yankee baseball during the baseball season and she loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandson every chance she got.
Ellen is preceded in death by her parents Toney and Ruth Pritchett; and her oldest daughter, Julia Ann Harbison.
She leaves behind two daughters, Marsha Pritchett and George of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Dana Bunch and husband Michael of Tahlequah, and son Tracy Philpott, also of Tahlequah. Oklahoma; twin granddaughters Nicole (Harbison) and husband Shawn Yoder of Inola and Natalie (Harbison) and husband Chase Holbrook also of Inola; four grandsons, Dalton Kirk of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Hunter Philpott, Garrison Philpott and Trae Philpott all of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; great grandson Silas Yoder of Inola and another great grandchild on the way; three sisters, Mary Poteet, Louise Murphy, and Martha Mojica; four brothers, Toney (Buck), Louie (Wayne), Paul, and Larry Dean all of Tahlequah; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as many friends and loved ones.
