Funeral
services for Wanda Lea Sadler 89 of Park Hill, Oklahoma are 10:00 am,
Tuesday April 30, 2019, at Green Country Funeral Home. Interment will
follow in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the care of Green
Country Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Ronnie Morgan, Forrest D. Wood,
Richard Carr, George Kirk, Bobby Rinehart, and Alan Nichols.
Wanda Lea Sadler was born January 1, 1930 in Haskell, Oklahoma to John Daniel and Angie (Brown) Smith. She departed this life on April 25, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with her family at her bedside.
Wanda enjoyed the springtime and enjoyed watching the beautiful flowers and hummingbirds eating out of their feeders. She also loved to cook, bake, and go fishing. Wanda’s biggest joy was being around her family.
Wanda worked at W.W. Hastings for over twenty years in the medical records department and was a member of Central Church of Christ.
Wanda has been preceded in death by her parents; a son, Terry Sadler; and sister, Mary Moore.
She leaves behind her husband of 68 years Henry Sadler; grandson, Kevin Sadler and wife Leigha; great grandson, Kevin Sadler Jr; sister, Carol Hallum; brother, Kenneth Smith; sister-in-law, Ruby Gill who she adored; god daughter, Paula Young; and numerous extended family members.
