Lee Brown was born on October 21m 1940 in Stamford, Texas. He passed
away on Saturday August 24, 2019, at his home in Keys, Oklahoma,
surrounded by his loved ones, as he had wished.
On February 11, 1974, in Wichita, Kansas, he married Carol Sue Hooper. They had shared 45 and a half years of marriage at the time of Gerald’s passing.
He loved camping in the mountains, playing the drums, reading the history of World War II, being a firefighter, and spoiling his grandkids. Gerald was an amazing father and husband.
Gerald was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Brueggemann; an uncle, Mike Brunk; and his granddad, Henry Brunk.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Sue of the home; two children, Lorissa Lynn Austin of Portland, Oregon and Mark Lee Brown of Layton, Utah; his five grandchildren, Ileana Brown, Sophia Ahlen, Mitchell Brown, Caroline Austin, and Gabe Brown; he also leaves many other close family members and friends.
