Oliver
“Hugh” White was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Ira Hugh William and
Ethel Alma (Watkins) White on December 16, 1928. He was called home on
January 4, 2019, from Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years and 19
days.
Hugh attended Loeser School on Barron Fork. Maynard and Fort Gibson Schools.
He worked as a wheat harvester and traveled much following work opportunities. He would later begin his career as a flooring installer laying carpet and ceramic tile.
After his retirement he enjoyed doing a little fishing and traveling.
Oliver was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Virginia Lowrey.
He leaves behind his two children, Larry White of Muskgee, Oklahoma and Linda Dotson and husband Larry of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Kelli Bennett and husband Jason, Barry Dotson and wife Melissa, Tory Dotson and wife Samantha, all of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Jennifer Callison of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Jason Robinson and wife Heather of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; twelve great grandchildren; two brothers, Henry White and wife Pat of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, and David White and wife Joyce, also of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; a sister, Geraldine Allen of McKinney, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and loved ones.
