Funeral services for Corene Fisher will be held on Friday, November 1st, 2019 at the Reed-Culver Chapel in Tahlequah, OK at 2:00pm with Reverend David Wiens officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31st, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Reed-Culver Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Price Cemetery in Tahlequah, OK. Pallbearers for Corene include Buddy Hamilton, Randy Collins, Keith Moore, Ronnie Beaverson, Jeffery Anderson Jr., and Joshua Taylor Anderson. Tommy Moore will be serving as Honorary Pallbearer.
Corene Fisher was born on Sunday December 14th, 1941 in Tahlequah, OK. She was the daughter of Broxer Collins and Pearl (Ryder) Collins. She married her second husband James McNair on December 21, 1990 but sadly lost him June 11, 1996. She later met and married Norman "Shrimp" Fisher on Sunday February 14th, 1999, after returning to Tahlequah, OK. He could always make her laugh. Corene was an aunt and great aunt to many, as well as an amazing cook. She enjoyed having fun playing games, cards, bingo, softball, and watching the OU Sooners. Most of all, Corene loved God and was always praying over her family and sharing the love of Jesus with others. She could play piano and guitar. She was also a beautiful singer.
Corene went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday October 29th, 2019 at the age of 77.
She is preceded in death by her parents Broxer and Pearl Collins, her three brothers Broxer Collins Jr., Ray Collins, and Clint Collins, and her twin sister Irene, three of her children Jeffery Paul Sr., and twins Dewayne Van, and Lori Ann Anderson and her granddaughter Leslie Anderson.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Scotty Dale, Michael Wayne. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Jeffery Paul Anderson Jr., Jaime Chapman, Cindy Kroll, Joshua Taylor Anderson, and Crystal St. John, nine precious great grandchildren, Trey, Ty, Bella, Brittney, Josie Dean, Jayden, Kinzayda, Keirstyn and Matthew Jayce as well as a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.

Lindsey Dawn Hosley Downing, peacefully passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at her home in Tahlequah. Lindsey was born in Muskogee on Independence Day in 1976 to Cecilia Ann (Roark) Woodall and James Michael Woodall.

She was a loving mother of four; Kelsi Celeste Camden, James Alec Downing, William Tyler Downing and the apple of her eye, Chloe Jane Downing. Lindsey was passionate about her family and enjoyed photography, animals, and loved the outdoors. She had a creative heart, crafting blankets, baking cakes, anything she could do to make her loved ones feel special. If you liked it, she loved it! She loved the fireworks every year on her birthday.

Lindsey and Kelly own My Place BBQ in Tahlequah where Lindsey worked for many years. She worked very hard for her family. She was a natural hostess and had the heart to serve others, always making her coworkers and customers feel like family.

She is survived by her husband, William Kelly Downing, her four children, her sister Katie, brother Ryan, and many other friends and family.

A memorial service for Lindsey Dawn Downing will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Hart Funeral Home.

 It is with great sadness that I post this obituary. Lindsey was a wonderful person. I shared much laughter with her at My Place Barbecue over the years. She was funny and sweet and kind.

Obituary for David Michael Long

David Michael Long was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on July 29, 1948 to Cornelius “Pat” and Mary “Minnie” (Davis) Long. He passed from this life on October 27, 2019, from Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years 2 months and 28 days.
David’s early education was attained at attending Freewater, Wauhillau, and Robert Trapp Elementary Schools and was a graduate of Stilwell High School. He would go on to receive his Bachelors’ and Masters’ degree at Northeastern State University.
David wore many hats during his time here on earth, he was an ordained minister, English teacher at both Stilwell Junior and Senior High Schools, he taught Freshman Composition at Northeastern State University, was Office Manager over the Motorpool, and Custodial Departments at Northeastern State, a Sales Clerk at Drysdale’s in Tulsa, and did Gardening and landscaping at ORU in Tulsa and Cedar Lakes in Wichita, Kansas.
David was reared in and accepted Christ in the Freewater Baptist Church in Stilwell at an early age and his faith never wavered.
He cared about kids and worked with them in both capacities of school and church. He was also a talented vocalist and pianist also and put those talents to use serving as youth director and FCA sponsor in Wichita.
David sang in many musical groups and was nominated as male Vocalist/ Instrumentalist/ and Promoter of the year from 1998-2000 for the Country Gospel Music Association. In 2003 he served as Board Member for the Academy of Gospel Music, Tennessee.
He was a member of numerous professional affiliations, and enjoyed sports…..especially basketball.
David was preceded in death by his parents Minnie and Pat Long; and two brothers, Roger Dale, Cornelius Jr, George, Nophaie and Lewis; sister, Clara Workman; and a special lady in his life, Jayne Ann McClure.
He is survived by a sister, Mary Ann Nofire; and brothers, JC Long and wife Charline of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Steve Long and wife Margie of Stilwell, Oklahoma; many extended family members, friends and loved ones and will be missed greatly.

Stephanie Lynell Williams-Crittenden was born on December 1, 1984 in Claremore Oklahoma to Lionel Tabor and Anna Old Crow Williams, AKA Toby. She passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the age of 34.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00pm, Wednesday, October 31, 2019 at Concho Community Building in Concho, OK with Rev. Chief George Akeen officiating. Interment will follow at Concho Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Reed Culver funeral home from 1:00pm until 6:00pm.
She graduated from Sequoyah High School where she met the love of her life Billy Crittenden, 18 years ago. They lived in the Tahlequah community and had three beautiful children Sasha, Trisha, and Zane. Through all the ups and downs they were each other's Ride or Die. She loved her family; she was a wonderful mother and housewife. She loved her dogs Dozer, Cosmo, and Fat Girl. She absolutely loved couponing. Her days consisted of finding sales, going from store to store finding her deals. She came to be known by friends and loved ones as the "coupon lady." Everyone knew she had the deals. Her motto was "if you want it she got it, if you need it she'll get it" and "first come, first serve." She loved her nails and doing nails. She would say, "First round is free." She had all the nieces and her babies lined up to get their nails done. There is so much that can be said about Steph Dugg but everyone that knew her knows what a wonderful beautiful person she was, how much she is loved and is going to be missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother Anna Old Crow-Williams and Sister Chopsey.
Stephanie leaves behind her husband Billy Joe Crittenden three children Sasha, Trisha, and Son Zane, father Lionel Tabor, sisters Rose, Denise and Tosh, Brothers Don and Ace, Close family Nikki, Stevie, Darrlyn, Tree, Cedric, Cody, BB, Chris, all the Crittenden family, many more friends and loved ones.

Calvin was born on January 17, 1967 in Tahlequah to Richard and Ida (Hooper) Vann. Calvin attended Oaks School. When he wasn't building pole barns, he was always full of energy, always cleaning. He had a good sense of humor and loved to laugh. He also liked riding bikes and being with his friends. He enjoyed being free to roam around town. Walking was one of his favorite things to do. He also loved listening to music. Bob Segar was one of his favorite artists and he loved any music performed by the Eagles. He met his wife in June 2006. The couple was married Valentine's Day 2015. He passed from this life on Monday October 21, 2019 in Tulsa, OK. Calvin will surely be missed!
Calvin is proceeded in death by his parents, Richard and Ida Vann, one brother, Roman Vann and more recently his sister, Kristy Vann.
He is survived by his wife Norma (Pritchett) Vann of Westville, one daughter, Jena Oosawhe and husband Brandon of Tahlequah; two sons, Chase and Collin Vann both of Tahlequah; stepdaughters, Amanda Kendricks of Texas, Deidra Keen of Tulsa and Shawna Walker of Westville. He is also survived by one sister, Cindy Barnes of Tahlequah; four brothers, Kevin Vann and wife Jolene (Pritchett) Vann of Tahlequah; Robin Vann and wife Julia, of Verona, MO, Richard Vann and wife Carrie of Woodall; Brian Vann and wife Amanda of Woodall; several nieces and nephews, seven grandchildren and a brother-in-law Robert Holt of Tahlequah.

Buddy Michael Tennison was born as James Lee White on Friday, June 16th, 1961 in Muskogee, OK. He was the son of Leon and Doris Irene (Brummett) White and raised alongside his sister, Cherie. His parents raised him to be a lover of the outdoors, especially fishing, camping and boating. He thrived to learn all he could about his Cherokee heritage. Buddy loved to travel and took any chance to see new places. He was skilled with his hands and spent his free time creating beautiful beadwork. If you stopped to chat, you would soon discover that he was a very outgoing and friendly man who never met a stranger. On Friday, October 18th, 2019, Buddy passed from this life at the age of 58.
Buddy is preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory include his three sons and one daughter, James Lucas White of Hulbert, OK, Jesse James White and wife Marisa of Pryor, OK, Charles Gipson and wife Lyssa of Owasso, OK and Jamie Lynn and husband Dylan Massey of Welch, OK and his sister Cherie Brave of Hulbert, OK. Among those left behind are 12 grandchildren, Brianna, Areanna, Andrew, Devin, Karolyn, Wyatt, Saige, Jackson, Taylor, Nathan, Allison, and Lauren with number 13 on the way as well as a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.

Jimmie Beverly Richardson was born on Friday, July 9th, 1937 in Liberal, KS, the son of J.O. and Opal (Stoddard) Richardson. He grew up with one sister. Jim and Anna (Anderson) Moore were united in marriage on March 15th, 2016. They made their home on the ranch in Pumpkin Hollow. Jim worked a variety of jobs throughout his lifetime, he was a welder, a rodeo clown, a mechanic, and worked cattle. He passed from this life on Saturday, October 16th, 2019 at the age of 82 years. Jim is preceded in death by his mother, father, first wife, one sister, one son-in-law, and one grandson. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Anna of the home, two children, Kim Whitham, and Marty Richardson and wife Shirley all of Proctor, OK. There are three step-children, T.J. Coger and wife Cassie of Galveston, TX, Robert Coger and wife Janet of Locust Grove, OK, and Joe Coger and wife Rebecca of Peggs, OK. He lives on in his five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a special niece, Lee and nephew Ranger, sister-in-law Deretha, father-in-law Leo Anderson and wife Sharlene, as well as many friends and a host of loved ones.

Bobby Lee Vaughn was born on Wednesday, November 25th, 1964 in Tulsa, OK, the son of Larry and Theda Kaye (Catron) Vaughn Sr. He grew up with six brothers and sisters, attended school and graduated from Stilwell High school. He then began his basic studies at NSU in Tahlequah and completed his Bachelors Degree in Nursing from the University Of Arkansas. He worked as a RN at WW Hastings Hospital. When he wasn’t working, he was the people he loved most in the world, his family. He loved them, and couldn’t wait to go outdoors, and swim, hike, ride motorcycles, fish, hunt or just chase each other around the yard. When they were in the house, it was fun and games, board games, video games, and listening to the Eagles and Kiss. He possessed an ornery streak, loved to pull pranks, and just be one of the kids. He was a genuine people person, give him five minutes and you felt you had known him all your life. He like to play the guitar, and just relax for awhile. Whenever his family had a chance to gather to gather, he was in the middle, having the best time he could. He was the proud father of four daughters, Terra, Elizabeth, Abigail, and Kaitlyn. They were his pride and joy and he was their biggest fan. He was a Christian by faith and attended several of the area Baptist churches. Bobby went home to his eternal home on Monday, October 7th, 2019 in Tahlequah, OK, He was 54 years old and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wallace and Mary Tehee Vaughn-Leach, John and Norma Jean (Beaver) Catron, one sister, Angela Vaughn and one niece, Jelisa Sanchez.
Those he leaves to mourn his passing include his mother, Theda Kaye Catron-Hamilton and husband Allen of Stilwell, OK, his father, Larry Vaughn Sr. and wife Debrah of Muskogee, OK, and his four daughters, Terra Compton and husband Miles of Ft. Worth, TX, Elizabeth Vaughn of Tulsa, OK, Abigail Vaughn of Tulsa, OK, and Kaitlyn Vaughn of Tahlequah, OK. There are also his stepdaughters, Courtney Cochran, Kelli Hamby, Angela Owens, and Tyler Casey. He leaves his three sisters and two brothers, Kristi Lucas and husband Juan of Stilwell, OK, Laina Vaughn and Aaron Freeman of Muskogee, OK, Jenna Vaughn of Muskogee, OK, Justin Hamilton and wife Marie of Stilwell, OK, and Larry Vaughn Jr and wife Sheri of Muskogee, OK. Bobby lives on in his nine grandchildren, and his many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.

Funeral services Saturday, October 12th, 2019 at 2:00pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Teresita Cemetery.

Betty was born in Wichita, Kansas on May 4, 1924. Her parents were Samuel Garber and Vivian Frances Umbarger. She is preceded in death by her parents, her aunt Margie Umbarger, husband Philip Stanley Osborn, son Philip Stanley Osborn II, great-grandson Vaughn Aldrich Lujan, her sister Marilyn Robinson and nephew Hal Robinson.
She is survived by her children, Judith Ann Lujan and husband Lance, Linda Hutton, and Scott Louis Osborn and wife Donna Ruth, and daughter-in-law, Donna Marie Osborn; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her niece, Jamie Fynn and her children as well as one last surviving cousin, Sandra Waller of Austin, Texas.
She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, master quilter and knitter, baker, pilot and tough as nails. Betty was a Past Matron of Eastern Star #96, Herington, Kansas, a member of the Los Colcheras Quilt Guild of Las Cruces, Uravelers Knitting Guild and a library volunteer at Conley Elementary School. She was a resident of Good Samaritan Village for 17 years. She will be missed.
Graveside services for Betty will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:00am at Cookson Proctor Cemetery in Cookson, Oklahoma. Online condolences for the family may be left at www.reedculver.com.
