Obituary for Brett Andrew Freeman

Memorial services for Brett Andrew Freeman are 2:00 pm, Saturday October 5, 2019, at Green Contry Funeral Home.

Brett Andrew Freeman was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on January 13, 1978, to Gary Dwain Freeman and Terry Lynn (Jarvis) Jones. He died on September 30, 2019, at the age of 41 years 8 months and 17 days.

Brett was raised in Red Oak, TX before moving to Oakhust, CA where he was a 1996 graduate of Yosemite High School. Following graduation he attended OU in Norman before transferring to Northeastern State in Tahlequah where he earned a teaching degree. He taught high school Science in Exeter, Missouri. While there he began a fun school night for the students, and a recycling program for the county. While Brett was teaching he was attending Lindon University and earned his Masters Degree.

In 2015 he moved to San Antonio, TX where he worked in government billing with Accenture. While in Pennsylvania he met Summer Moore and they were married December 5, 2015. Summer died in San Antonio TX on July 7, 2019.

He had many hobbies he enjoyed but not limited to; Horse Racing, Visiting Museums, Motorcycle Riding, playing music, the banjo, electric and acoustic guitar which he was self taught along with other instruments, and was a member of a board game group where he collected unique board games from around the world.

Brett lived life to the fullest making an adventure each weekend, just going somewhere and exploring what was there. He and Summer had a good time dancing, seeing sights of their travels, cookouts, going to the theater, the Fort Smith Stock Yards, the San Antonio River Walk, along with exploring the Strip District of their current weekend Get-a-way.

Preceding him in death is his wife Summer Freeman; and papaw, Felix Freeman.

Surviving him are his parents; Danny and Terry Jones, and Gary Freeman;sons, Matthew and Tyler; sisters Lacey Freeman and Marlee Freeman; and grandparents Don and Laura Jarvis and Imogene Feeman; uncles, Keith Freeman and Stubby Jarvis; cousins, Cheyenne Jarvis, and Kinion Jarvis; nephews, Landon, Taetyn, Calen, and Silas; nieces, Dwalyn, Audriana and Lorelie and many friends, and loved ones.
