Alan Scott Bear was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on October 31, 1963 to Glenda Raedean (Lefors) Ridenhour and Turner Bear Jr.
He passed away at his home in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on January 25, 2020, at the age of 56 years 2 months and 25 days.
Alan grew up in the Tahlequah area and was a 1982 graduate of Tahlequah High School. Alan enlisted in the United States Army and served during
Desert Storm.
He had worked at Job Corps for eleven years. He had earned his EMT certificate and then worked for the VA Hospital as an Endo Tech for 16 years before retiring.
Alan enjoyed the outdoors and had played ball in the Briggs Community. He enjoyed all sports and even had done skydiving.
He liked racing and had a put together a Jeff Gordon collection.
Alan was preceded in death by his mother Glenda Raedean Ridenhour.
He is survived by his son, Brett Alan Bear of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; parents, Turner and Joyce Bear of Coweta, Oklahoma; two brothers, Gerry and wife Becki of Little Elm, Texas, and Neill Bear of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his sister, Sara Lamb of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Brooke Bear; several nieces and nephews; and many other friends and loved ones.
