Ruth Peters was born in Dallas, Texas to Lonnie B. and Ethel Mae
(Williams) Diggs on April 10, 1936. She was called home on January 15,
2020, at the age of 83 years 9 months and 5 days.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie B. and Ethel Mae Diggs; a sister Doris Hope; and two brothers, Bradford and Tommy Diggs.
She is survived by her husband, Reverend Gerald A. Peters of 66 years plus; children, Sheryl Porter and husband Sam of Edmond, OK, Paula Lindemann and husband Dennis of Broken Arrow, OK, and Gerald Peters II and wife Sheila of Carnegie, OK; eight grandchildren, Aaron Porter and Chanda of Tyler, TX, Joshua Porter and Rachel of Sapulpa, OK, John Lindemann and Paige of Broken Arrow, OK, Grady Peters of OKC, OK, Lynsey Peters, Sydne Peters, Mory and Oakley all of Carnegie, OK; nine great grandchildren, Reece and Doak Porter of Tyler, Texas; Zeke, Chi, and Jet Porter of Sapulpa, OK, Mason and Kaden Lindemann of Broken Arrow, OK; and Kynlee and Myles Peters of Carnegie, OK; three siblings, sister, Betty Williams, sister, Linda Harris and Gale and brother, Bobby Diggs and Anita; and sister in law Peggy Diggs; as well as many extended family members, friends and loved ones.
